The WMHS Alumni Foundation was founded in the summer of 2006 by a group of dedicated alumni who wish to be involved in a pro-active organization dedicated to the improvement of WMHS. The goal of the Alumni Foundation is to spearhead projects with the support of the Wakefield School Committee and the WHS administration.
WMHS has a long-held tradition of excellence in academics as well as sports, the fine arts, and other extra-curricular activities. The Alumni Foundation hopes to uphold this tradition with its work. Our students need all the support we can give them to continue to be successful in high school and beyond.
